Saturday January 25th - Midland to the Ice Cave.
The hike into the ice cave takes about 1 hour. It is a steep hike in. Dress warm - I brought snow pants just in case it was wet out, but on this day we got lucky and didn't need them.

It's a lot bigger than it looks really.
At the end of the walking trail, there is a steep drop down a hill. There are ropes to climb down, but it was really slippery. I basically just slid down. The ice cave is made from the water dripping over the ledge of the drop. The entrance is cut into the ice wall that forms.
